Fundraising & Compliance Officer

Salary: 25,000 per annum Pro rata

The role is a temporary contract to cover a period of maternity leave and is expected to last a minimum of 6 months but will most likely be extended beyond this (approx.9-12 months).

This position will be responsible for managing the legacy programmes (last will and testament donations) as well as all of the compliance surrounding Gift Aid and GDPR, and ensuring the Raisers Edge database is maintained, with accurate collection of data being carried out and identifying and resolving inaccuracies on the database.

We would like the successful candidate to commence employment in mid December 2019. Experience of using the Raisers Edge database is a must for this role (ideally as the main administrator) and you will ideally have experience of legacy fundraising. Website management skills using WordPress would be desirable.

Fundraising Manager

Salary: 27,000-28,000 per annum Pro rata

This is a temporary contract to provide a period of maternity leave for 6 months, but could extend beyond this (approx.9-12 months).

This position will be responsible for the individual giving programme, focusing on direct mail, mid level donors and cold acquisition.

You will deliver and manage direct mail appeals to our database of warm supporters including creative copy writing and design, liaison with external agencies and reporting, monitoring and evaluating progress. You will line manage the Fundraising Administrator, whose role is to support the individual giving programme, develop income from our church audience and support other members of our team.

The successful candidate will commence employment in the new year (early-mid February). Experience within a fundraising role, specifically with an individual giving programme and direct mail campaigns, would be essential and you must have experience of Raisers Edge software package or a similar CRM platform.

A creative approach to storytelling and experience in copywriting is a must along with strong relationship management skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
